AJ records in an enclosed box with a layer of 3/4" plywood attached to homasote sound deadening panels. On the inside, it is layered with acoustic foam and film-grade sound dampening blankets. Her interface is Universal Audio Volt 475 USB-C, and her microphone is a Rode NT1 5th Generation Condenser Microphone with a SM6 shockmount and pop filter. She also uses the Fethead Phantom inline microphone preamp.
